Es hora de valorar nuestra experiencia en el curso de "Respuesta educativa para el alumnado con TDAH"
Comencé con muchas ganas, ya que cada vez es más frecuente encontrarnos en nuestras aulas con niños y niñas con TDAH, y como todos sabemos, los maestros no tenemos la formación adecuada para responder a estos alumnos.
Al principio pensé que iba a encontrar más dificultades, pero con tanta información encontrada desde la plataforma, el colegio e incluso internet, todo fue sobre ruedas. Creo que la teoría la he aprendido correctamente, pero ahora viene lo difícil, que es ponerlo en práctica. Ahí es donde verdaderamente podré valorar mi experiencia en el curso. De momento no he dado con ningún alumno con estas características, pero sinceramente creo que estoy preparada para ello.
Los bloques que más me han gustado han sido los primeros, donde he podido aprender muchas características que desconocía de las personas que padecen TDAH. Incluso he conocido muchos personajes famosos con este trastorno, lo que me hará sacar más fuerza para hacer que mis futuros alumnos salgan adelante.
Creo que todo lo trabajado me servirá más tarde o más temprano en mi vida profesional, por lo que puedo calificar esta experiencia como altamente satisfactoria.

Factores de éxito en el aula
FACTORES DE ÉXITO EN EL AULA
En esta entrada voy
a proponer una serie de pautas o recomendaciones que los profesores debemos
seguir cuando tenemos un alumno con TDAH en el aula. Con ellas pretendemos
garantizar el éxito de estos alumnos.

Repetir
con frecuencia las normas. Es una manera de asegurarnos que no se
olviden de ellas en ningún momento.
-
Generar horarios
y rutinas. Está comprobado que estos alumnos rinden más con un horario y
unas rutinas establecidas.
-
Transmitir
la importancia de tener una hora de fin de las actividades intelectuales. Saber
que toda actividad tiene su fin les permitirá centrarse más en las actividades
con el fin de acabarlas dentro del plazo.
-
Fragmentar
tareas en periodos cortos de tiempo para aquellas que requieran un alto nivel
de concentración. Al tener una capacidad de concentración baja, es
importante hacer descansos entre medias de las tareas que más concentración
requieran.
-
Utilizar pegatinas
de colores para recordar la secuencia de los procesos. Estos alumnos
responden mejor ante estímulos visuales.
-
Pedir su
colaboración en la organización de la clase. Esto les permitirá
desconectar de vez en cuando sin salirse de las rutinas escolares.
-
Emparejarlos
con un compañero atento y ordenado que le sirva de referencia. Podemos considerar
ésta como otra forma de motivación, que es el objetivo final que pretendemos
con estos alumnos.

Ubicarlos
en las primeras filas, con pocos estímulos delante y un campo de visión no
excesivamente extenso. Regla inversamente proporcional. Menos estímulos
externos, mayor concentración.

Todos iguales, todos distintos
Como tutora de Primaria utilizaría una sencilla actividad
para explicar la diversidad y lo enriquecedora que es:
Le entregaría a cada alumno un papel donde anotar una
cualidad que le describiera (simpática, trabajador, alegre, chistoso…), sin
poner nombres ni datos personales que pudieran dar pie a identificarles. Acto seguido
recogería los papeles para después leerlos en voz alta y de uno en uno, intentando
descubrir entre todos de qué compañero se trata. Al final, entre todos
podríamos comprobar que no hay cualidades iguales, al igual que no hay personas
iguales. Pero la unión de todas esas cualidades se pueden utilizar para
inventarnos y crear una mejor persona. Así como en la vida las personas y sus
diferencias hacen que nos complementemos los unos a los otros.
